On Thursday, July 2, 2015, Iowa Governor Terry E. Branstad took action on 14 bills including the signing of SF505 which included the copay legislation language. APTA Iowa is extremely pleased to see the legislation has been signed and was in effect as of July 1, 2015.

This change will affect health plans delivered, issued for delivery and continued or renewed in Iowa on or after July 1, 2015. If you have patients who are still responsible for high co-pays please direct them to their insurance company.
