APTA Iowa Events

APTA Iowa offers multiple events throughout the year including webinars, town halls, district meetings, conferences and MORE. Through attending an APTA Iowa event, our members are able to access continuing education and industry information for FREE or at the member-discounted price.

Some of our ongoing events include:

  • District Meetings
  • The association is divided into 4 districts: Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest. Districts offer a way to connect with physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in your geographic area and provide a venue for more local networking and communication. District meetings typically occur quarterly and include an hour or more of free or low-cost continuing education followed by a brief business meeting. With platforms such as Zoom, members may attend events in any district.
  • APTA Iowa Spring and Fall conference
  • The Spring and Fall conferences are semi-annual, statewide events. At these conferences, there are high quality continuing education courses offered, an issues forum where you can learn about advocacy and legislative initiatives, and a business meeting. The conferences also allow for opportunities to socialize, have fun, and check out new products from vendors.

Check out the APTA Iowa Events Calendar to see our upcoming events!
