Event Promotion

Platinum Event Promotion : $200+ tax (non-members), $160 + tax (members)

Includes:

Website promotion on event calendar
Two emails to our membership featuring the event
Two social media posts on Twitter and Facebook platforms featuring the event

For platinum events, membership emails and social media posts will be made 4 weeks and 2 weeks prior to your event, unless otherwise requested.

Gold Event Promotion : $100 + tax (non-members), $80 + tax (members)

Includes:

Website promotion on event calendar
One email to our membership featuring the event
One social media post on Twitter and Facebook platforms featuring the event

For Gold events, membership emails and social media posts will be made 4 weeks prior to your event. Unless otherwise requested.

Bronze Event Promotion : $50+ tax (non-members), $40 + tax (members)

Includes:

Website promotion on event calendar

For all promotion levels, a social media post with a link to the event calendar on the association’s website occurs (at a minimum once per month).

A complimentary bronze event promotion package is available to APTA components, Iowa PT and PTA educational programs, state agencies, and other health care associations/organizations offering a free or at-cost event/education (equal to or less than $50).

Event Promotion Policies

All event information must be submitted to mail@iowaapta.org.

Payment must be received before an event will be posted
After payment is received, it may take 5-7 business days to complete your request.
Payments by check or credit card will be accepted. Please see payment section of this document for further details on payment.

All event promotions and advertisements are accepted on the basis of conformance with the ethical standards and policy statements of the American Physical Therapy Association and APTA Iowa. The right to reject an advertisement is retained by the association and/or executive director. Acceptance does not imply endorsement by APTA Iowa. Content of courses has not been vetted and APTA Iowa is solely communicating potential educational opportunities to the membership.

Promotions considered inappropriate for publication by APTA Iowa or promotion at APTA Iowa events include but are not limited to: Ads that promote facilities and/or seek physical therapists or physical therapist assistants to work in facilities where the referral for physical therapy services may result in direct income to the referring source. This policy applies to publications by and activities of APTA Iowa, including but not limited to: websites, newsletters, exhibits, event advertisements, sponsorships.

Blackout dates for advertising continuing education will be 2 weeks before and after the APTA Iowa conference according to policy. For example, if the conference is held on October 25-27, we would not accept any courses being held between October 11 and November 10.

Mailing Labels

While we are prohibited from sharing the email addresses of our members, APTA Iowa offers a one-time use, physical mailing labels of its membership of approximately 1500 members at the rates outlined below.
